Shutterstock is an American stock vendor based in New York City with a library of around 200 million stock photos, vector graphics and illustrations.
Adobe’s stock provider integrated with Creative Cloud. Formerly Fotolia. Good integration with all Adobe products.
iStock is an international image agency for photos, graphics, videos and audio files, which was acquired in 2006 for 50 million US dollars by Getty Images (the world’s largest image agency group).
Dreamstime is an online microstock media provider based in Brentwood, Tennessee. In 2016, its image database consisted of 49 million files from 170,000 different authors from around the world.
Alamy is a privately owned British photo agency with an online archive of over 125 million still images, illustrations and hundreds of thousands of videos.
Normally you don’t know where and how your own images are used. But by searching back my pictures on Google, I sometimes find out.
